I’d really like to hear your comments about episode 1 with Richard Lindzen and Hadi Dowlatabadi. One a sceptic and the other a consensus supporter, yet somehow they both share much the same opinions. Care to comment?

I found #1 very interesting, too.. for the same reasons MrCannuckistan mentioned.
One question I have is: why could they not find someone with a greater differential in their point of view for that panel? I speculate: nobody from the firmly supportive side will agree to debate in such a panel because it would legitimize the other side, and they are taking the position that there is nothing to debate.
Larry King had Lindzen (an MIT professor with directly relevant expertise) on a panel not long ago and the best opposition they could come up with was Bill Nye The Science Guy. He simply took the incredulous “how could you possibly deny?” position and did not have enough knowledge to counteract Lindzen.
As Mr. Cannuckistan mentioned, Hadi Dowlatabadi pretty much agreed with Lindzen on most points (who is frequently denigrated as a “denier”), and Hadi is a Canada Research Chair on the issue.
