Could ultracaps be our energy-storage saviour?

My Clean Break column today is a bit of an update on ZENN Motor, the potential of EEStor’s EESU, and an interesting comment about EEStor from Elon Musk, co-founder and CEO of Tesla Motors, who before becoming an entrepreneur had plans to enroll in engineering graduate studies and focus on ultracapacitors for vehicles. I also mention some interesting work on ultracapacitor materials being done at Queen’s University in Kingston, and talk about a new ultracapacitor bus operating in Shanghai that will be demonstrated Wednesday in Washington, D.C. (for another more detailed article on the ultracap bus check out this Technology Review article).

Eestor…it’s the stuff that dreams are made of! Well, here’s hoping dreams come true for something that would accelerate EV’s and Renewable energy to the fast track, cutting their wide-spread adoption by years. Perhaps you could give Dick Weir a call for a follow-up article? If you fly into Austin for it, I’ll even pick you up and carry your stuff to the Interview;-) I’ll even give you the secret to getting the interview- offer to take him out for BBQ for lunch- no Texan could refuse it!

So, Tyler, do you have any Zenn stock?…..I have an audio copy of the infamous Dick Weir interview…..I don’t know if he is lying to investors or not….intriguing

    Tyler,
When you get a chance you should interview Rudyard Istvan of NanoCarbons. Rudyard is an expert in ultracapacitors and runs a successful company.

    Is Zenn committing Fraud?

Since ZENN is a public company, why is there no involvement from regulators. Are they waiting for another BreX?
