It is a knee jerk reaction from critics who love to say "I told you so!" - I love this quote:

"According to the New York City Parks Department, there are more than 1,800 statues in the Big Apple. Statues of famous American generals. Brilliant international poets. There's even a statue of Gandhi. But extensive research has shown that there isn't one single statue honouring the memory of a critic." - Small is the New Big by Seth Godin.

Tyler your analysis is correct - this is a different time and yes the markets are taking a beating across the board. When you look at what President Elect Obama has said time and time again - this is the age of investing in green tech. I think Obama will take this time and invest and create new jobs - green jobs - because he can, he has the mandate and there is the will. There has never been a 15 Billion dollar investment in the Green Industry and the multiplier effect will be amazing. Because like he said it is hard to export green jobs - they happen at home.

Thanks for taking the time to post your thoughts Tyler.

Cheers,

Ethanol became a scapegoat early in the year, now it is the forgotten target. There are so many new energy technologies on the horizon, the haters will eventually be drowned out as innovation is a key point of human existence, and I for one will happily purchase a product that means permanently clean air.
