		<description>The company says it can go from fully portable units to large scale, with the cost falling as economies of scale are reached. But even at small scale, it says the costs are much more economical than F-T processes. Company president Tom Rolfe told me they can go from as small as 5 million standard cubic feet per day to 500 MM scfd. I believe Fischer-Tropsch plants are not appropriate for anything under 200 MM scfd. Rolfe said the truly portable refineries would have to be under 25 MM scfd. At this size, you could build a plant on an offshore rig, keep it there for a few years, and then disassemble and transport to another remote location.
