Of this, they figure about .12 per cent (500 megawatts, roughly) is used to power data centers.&quot;I am working with a group of Harvard/MIT students on a residential energy efficiency project. The PowerDown initiative aims to increase energy efficiency in the residential area by finding new and innovative ideas to motivate energy savings.</description>
