		<description>According to my simple calculations if I reduce my energy consumption by 10% and then Toronto Hydro gives me 10% discount on that reduced use then I actually have just shaved 19% off my potential costs. Not bad at all.

I am curious what would happen if, in Ontario, Premier Dalton McGuinty diverted the billions he is planning on wasting on nuclear (which wont even be available for over a decade) into conservation and more renewable resources. I think the only negative impact would be that several nuclear consultants and lobbyists might have to rethink their retirement plans.
