IP law firm establishes cleantech practice
Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox, a Washington, D.C.-based intellectual property law boutique has announced the creation of a CleanTech Industry Group that will specialize in helping companies in the cleantech sector protect their patents, trademarks, trade secrets and copyrights. The group will also assist with technology transfers and litigation.
“With alternative-energy technology estimated to capture 10 per cent of all venture dollars by 2009, inventors need protection,” said David Cornwell, a director with the firm and head of its CleanTech practice.
