Amory Lovins talks…
If you want to learn a bit about one of clean energy’s brightest champions, check out this piece in Discover magazine. Basically the magazine asks Lovins, co-founder of environmental think-tank Rocky Mountain Institute, to offer his views on a number of issues, including energy/electricity, oil, new plastics, hydrogen and wind.
Lovins, I should point out, is also co-author of the book Natural Capitalism – a must read for anyone interested in this area. I’ve got an Amazon.com link at the lower right corner of this site for anyone interested in the book.

Tyler Hamilton is senior energy reporter and columnist for the Toronto Star, Canada's largest daily newspaper. In addition to this Clean Break blog, Tyler writes a weekly column of the same name that discusses trends, happenings and innovators in the cleantech market. This blog is a personal project started in April 2005. It is not an official blog of the newspaper. Tyler can be reached at tyler@cleanbreak.ca

Tyler:
Great of you to refer to the Amory Lovins’ article in the February issue of Discover Magazine. Lovins has been an inspiration for a generation of environmentally concious individuals. However, the article you refer to is no longer available on the book stands I’ve been at. The March issue has been on the stands for the past several days. Too bad. Thank you for posting the link to the article on your Clean Break website, as this may be the only opportunity for non-subscribers of Discover Magazine to have access to it. Just to point out; something I’ve mentioned before, the GFX drain heat exchanger is endorsed by Rocky Mountain Institute.
Although you may have already visited these links, here they are for your perusal:
