That fact that those details have yet to be made front and centre gives me less confidence in the NDP’s ability to follow through. But again, I expect all three remaining parties to more clearly articulate their environmental platform in the coming few days as this election heats up.

A few months ago, When David Suzuki held a conference with various U of T students about Sustainability Within A Generation, Jack Layton was there to talk about the NDP plan. At that time, it was easily accessible online and I acquired the links and posted them on my own site. Here they are for you:

The plan (however shoddily showcased on the site) is comprehensive and (in my opinion) well thought out. It’s not as good as the Green Party’s plan, but since I like how the NDP stands on various other pillars vs. the Greens, I’m still going orange for this next election.
