A cleantech boost from the art community
Lope, an artist in Montreal, has created a Web site devoted to art that deals with the theme of renewable energy. “There is some very nice work being done,” he wrote in an e-mail. “I’m hoping to draw attention to it with the site.”
Toronto native Sarah Hall, for example, embeds solar cells inside glass panes (photo to left), while Danish artist Asbjorn Lonvig creates paintings with windmill themes. Here’s the link if you’re interested in checking it out.
