		<description>The US government funds a lot of research and development for Konarka&#039;s tech and others.  Currently, efforts are being made to improve the efficiency and lower the cost of manufacturing/printing the materials.  The military tents with all solar roofs are quite impressive, though I don&#039;t know how well they would hold up to being folded, shipped half-way around the world, and set-up in a desert.  But it looks really promising.
