Tapping into new energy
This article of mine in Saturday’s business section of the Toronto Star takes a look at how alternatives to oil, natural gas, coal and nuclear are becoming more economical as renewable energy technologies advance and as record-high fossil fuel and grid electricity prices hit the pocketbook. The list of increasingly affordable alternatives include waste-gas, landfill gas, geothermal, solar thermal, wind power and, of course, hybrid-electric design.
