Battery innovations begin to emerge…
Just as a followup to the previous post, here’s a link to a great Financial Times article about the battery industry’s reputation as a laggard and recent innovations that are helping it play catch-up. The story mentions the Toshiba breakthrough and others. It also nicely summarizes the three main markets where battery innovations are necessary: portable electronics; vehicles; and renewable energy storage.
